At this moment we have close to 500 taxicabs operating on our Credit Card System called CCA-1.  Two major Taxi Associations in Chicago ( the City mandates electronic credit card processing )  have recognized the value and benefit from this system.  It satisfies the requirement and simplified the cashiering system.  All of the transactions are carried out over private radio network(s) usually compatible to your existing radio system.  This simplifies the installation and operation as well as keeping the overall costs within reason. In addition to the credit card system this will also satisfy your GPS requirements.

This product, the Wi Sys 7120 installs as a modem connecting the radio, GPS antenna and Taxi Meter ( Pulsar or Centrodyne ).  The meter becomes the printing and I/O device f or the transaction information, in a way similar to settling any meter based fare.  Receipts are printed by the meter and authorizations received typically within 15 seconds.

Purchase plans and leasing are all available.  Monthly fees apply.  CabConnect provides the IP solution / cashiering system.
